Use casesInterview and documentary assembly

Your Mac runs unlimited documentary prep

Transcribe and search the full documentary without local processing-hour limits, build a reviewed first assembly and reuse the selected sources in later team cuts.

A family restaurant documentary needs a new opening by Friday. The three long interviews give different accounts of the night the owners nearly closed, and nobody has pulled selects from days of kitchen coverage on the production drives.

How Stringout solves this

01

A selective transcript pass can miss the better answer

Each of the three accounts may matter, including the answer left out of the producer’s outline. Stringout transcribes the interviews on the Mac with no per-hour limit and no upload for that processing. The editor searches the complete recordings and the indexed kitchen coverage before choosing the opening.

02

The first cut needs the answer and the picture behind it

Each useful answer and alternate account becomes a named select linked to its recording, with the kitchen and exterior coverage in the same project. Auto-Assemble builds a working sequence on the Mac that holds the originals. The editor reviews its choices and the coverage it flags before going on with the cut.

03

The story changes after the first handoff

The earlier selects and unused coverage are still in the indexed project. With Pro team sharing, teammates open that library from their own connected Macs, and production holds the originals on its drives. A supported NLE project the editor returns becomes a new cut version, and the next request starts from that cut and the original selects. In Premiere, Resolve or Final Cut Pro, the editor handles pacing, sound and finishing.

The result

A working cut and a shared production library

The editor gets a sequence to review and a project with the unused answers and coverage in it. When the opening changes, the team goes back to those source ranges and continues the edit in its NLE.
